3B David Wright’s right pinky remains swollen and he remains unable to swing a bat. If Wright does not improve Saturday, the team will place their franchise face on the DL. Manager Terry Collins plans on moving starting 2B Daniel Murphy to third if Wright is out for an extended period of time. #5 cannot even swing a bat after jamming the finger diving back into first base to avoid a pick off Tuesday.
