The Mets had a 3-2 lead when Rick Aguilera fell apart in the top of the seventh. Aguilera’s record was 0-3, and he was the pitcher of record in three of the Mets six losses.
Keith Hernandez went two for four with a run and an RBI and Howard Johnson drove in two runs.
