The Mets continued their domination of the Braves in the final weekend before the All Star break. The Mets put up ten runs on fifteen hits while Rick Aguilera and the pen held the Braves in check.
Lenny Dykstra had four hits while Keith Hernandez, Mookie Wilson and Ray Knight all had two RBIs. Gary Carter went three for four with two runs.
