May 17, 1986 at Dodgers Stadium

Dodgers 6, Mets 2  (22-9)

The Mets losing streak continued as they lost their fourth of five games.  Sid Fernandez was rolling along until the bottom of the eighth inning when, with the score tied 2-2, he got tagged for four runs.

The Mets blew a ton of opportunities as they had thirteen hits but could only manage to get two across the plate.  They stranded eleven batters in total.  Keith Hernandez went three for four with an RBI and Ray Knight continued to hit well by going three for four with a double.
