Mets 4, Expos 1 (68-32)
This time it was Rick Aguilera and Jesse Orosco who pitched the Mets to an easy win. In all, the two pitchers held the Expos to a single run on four hits. Aguilera improved to 5-3 and Orosco saved his fourteenth game of the season.
Gary Carter drove in three runs and tripled for the first time in the season. Len Dykstra went one for three with two runs and Keith Hernandez drove in the other Mets run and scored once.
