The Mets won their fourth in a row and their 50th of the season as Bob Ojeda bounced back from a rough start in his last outing. He threw a seven hit shutout and struck out six as he improved to 9-2.
Kevin Mitchell hit his fourth homer of the season and he scored three runs. Gary Carter went two for five with two RBIs and a run while Keith Hernandez went two for five with a run.
