The Florida Marlins exploded for 7 runs in 6th inning leading the visitors over the New York Mets 11-4 Thursday night at Citi Field. LF Logan Morrison(3 runs,2 hits,2 runs,2 rbi and 2 walks) and SS Hanley Ramirez(3 runs,3 hits and a two run homer) led the way for the 11 hit Marlins attack while RH Anibal Sanchez(11-8,3.29) earned the win after allowing 4 runs in 5 innings. Mets 3B David Wright had a big night for New York hitting a two run homer while scoring and walking twice. LH Jon Niese(8-6,3.63) pitched better than his stats(5 and two third innings, 5 hits, 7 runs, 3 walks and 8 strike outs) but could not escape the mess in the 6th, NY falls to 63-64 on the season.

GAME NOTES: Reyes was 0 for 11 before leaving the game after re-aggravating his right oblique muscle in the 2nd inning. He is considered day to day …. Marlins went an incredible 8 for 13 with runners in scoring position… NY is now 37-24 at Citi Field… Francoeur and Pagan had two hits for the Mets… Ramirez was 10 for 15 with 3 rbi and 6 runs in the series. For the year vs NY, he has hit .339 with 2 home runs, 12 rbi and 12 runs. He also posted 7 walks and stole 7 bags
