2 New York Mets stars were voted into the NL starting lineup while two pitchers were selected as well, giving NY four total all stars. 3B David Wright(.326,5,42,20 steals) and CF Carlos Beltran(.336,8,40,11 steals) were selected by the fans while LH SP Johan Santana(9-7,3.29, 107 Ks) and closer Francisco Rodriquez(21 saves, 2-2,1.59)  made them team after a vote from both players and managers in the NL. Beltran will not play due to his knee injury. The Mets have an NL high 4 all stars, the Cardinals. Phillies and Dodgers are tied in 2nd with 3 each.
